Hello and welcome to our Front of House team for In the Night Garden Live!

There are certain documents and information we need before you start with us, and we use PeopleHR to keep this all together. Please read through the instructions carefully and make sure you have completed your PeopleHR profile before your training day on Friday 4 August.

To start, you’ll need to follow the link in your welcome email from PeopleHR. You should receive this very shortly, but please also check your spam and junk folders as the email sometimes gets diverted by mistake.

What we need from you:

  • Passport style photo
  • Proof of right to work in the UK
  • P45 or P60 (if you have one available)
  • Bank details and emergency contact
  • A signed contract

Passport photo

We need a head and shoulders shot / passport photo style shot for your ID badge. This is your pass to get on and off the site so it’s really important the photo is clear.

  • Once you’ve logged into PeopleHR, click on Me on the left hand menu.
  • Click on the Personal tab.
  • Upload an Employee Photo by clicking on browse.
  • Whilst in the Personal tab, please check that your National Insurance number and date of birth are correct, and amend if necessary.

Proof of Right to Work in the UK

In order to work for us you need to have a Proof of Right to Work in the UK document. This is usually a scan of your UK or EEA region passport photo page, but please contact us if you are not sure.

  • Click on the Logbook tab (if opening PeopleHR again, you’ll need to click Me, and then Logbook)
  • Click on the drop down menu in the top right hand corner, and select “Right to work”:
  • Click on the + sign
  • From the dropdown menu, select either
    • A scan of my passport photo page, OR
    • A scan of my proof of right to work in the UK
  • Then click on the Files (0) button (next to Info, above the dropdown menu), and upload the scan of your document. Select the correct document type from the dropdown list.
  • Click Save.

P45/P60

To make sure you are put on the right tax code, we have already asked you to complete a New Starter Checklist. If you have one, we also need a P45 or P60 for our records. Don’t worry if you don’t have either of these as the details you have given on the New Starter Checklist will be enough.

  • Click on the Logbook tab again
  • Click on the drop down menu in the top right again, and select “Upload your P45”:
  • Click on the + sign
  • In the first drop down menu – “I have uploaded my P45” – select “Yes
  • Enter your National Insurance number
  • Then click on the Files (0) button, and upload the scan of your P45. Select the “P45” document type from the dropdown list.
  • Click Save.

Bank details

Importantly, we need your bank details to make sure you get paid correctly. We also need the details of a contact in case of an emergency. Please make sure they are local to the area and are aware that you have put them down as a first point of contact.

  • Click on the Contacts tab (again, under Me from the left most menu)
  • Fill in your Bank Name (Natwest, Barclays, Nationwide etc…)
  • Bank Code (this is your 6 digit sort code: XX-XX-XX)
  • Account Number (this is the 8 digit number at the bottom of your card – not the long 16 digit number across the middle)
  • Account Name (normally your name)
  • Emergency Contact info – click Add New and fill in all the fields.
  • Click Save.

Contract

Finally, we need you to sign your contract! It is really important you look through this carefully and you agree with all the terms and conditions. If you are unsure on anything or have any questions please let us know.

  • To find your contract, click on the Documents tab:
  • You should see your contract(s) in the documents list here.
  • Hover over the document name and click Download to view your contract.
  • When you’re ready to sign it, click on Pending.
  • Type in your name, then click Sign.
  • And that’s it!

Please make sure you complete these details as soon as possible. We will need your bank details before your first shift so please make sure they have been uploaded so you can be paid on time!

Please let us know if there have been any changes to your availability since you first applied. Rotas are being drafted now so it is important you let us know as soon as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns please email Nicola.Brown@minorentertainment.com. We look forward to seeing you at the Showdome soon!
